Paragit is a Danish MedTech startup with ambitions to contribute to the digitization of the healthcare industry through innovative neurotech
Paragit was founded in 2018 on the dream of developing advanced and patient-friendly technologies to seamlessly improve the quality of life for people with Parkinson’s disease and other neurological disorders.
Founder Mohammad Filfil developed the first functioning prototype and while finishing his MSc in Electrical Engineering, he further developed the Paragit Sleeve.
In 2020, Mathias Milsø Stephensen entered Paragit as co-founder. He has a MSc in Economics and joined the goal to contribute to better care for patients and a better understanding of chronic disorders ultimately leading to a cure for disorders such as Parkinson’s disease.
In 2023, Paragit is on the verge to regulatory approval and initial commercialization.

Filfil is an inventor who has been building a variety of projects, including biosensing wearables, bio-inspired robots, and X-ray machines, since the age of seven. He has held positions as Founder, Co-founder, and Hardware Lead in several startups, including Brixx wallet, Ambiee, and Ernit. Filfil has played a key role in developing Paragit's patented technologies, and has earned recognition for his contributions with several innovation awards in Scandinavia and Silicon Valley.
Mathias is an Economist by training and holds a degree in Business Management from University College London. Mathias has former experience from founding a SaaS startup focused on Big Data and machine learning to reduce waste in public utilities, the financial sector, and non-profit. Mathias keeps a sharp focus on day-to-day execution and operations.
Mauricio holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Integrative Neuroscience from University of Aalborg. Mauricio has formerly performed post-doc research within wearable and have a unique background to bridge the clinical and technological challenges. Mauricio is responsible for all activities related to research and data science.
